Wanted

Having recently moved to Lake Macquarie, I am hoping to find an Etchells to race in the Etchells fleet from LMYC and cruise on the lake with. Having just purchased my first home I do have a (very) limited budget therefore I'm looking for something that needs work or a tidy up. I’m experienced with fibreglass work and pretty nifty on the tools / happy to get hands on with a restoration or tidy up. If anyone has a boat that they would like to see hit the water again or a lead on a boat that needs some love or may just be able to point me in the right direction of a project boat I would be very appreciative.

A finely tuned John Bertrand boat! An Etchells with a record like no other, being a WORLD Championship and multiple Australian national title holder, 10th in the 2018 World titles. Here’s a boat that will get to you to the pointy end of the fleet without a doubt. Currently she is based at RQYS, QLD.
Built in 2008 by Ontario boats and in near perfect condition, comes with USA road trailer complete with triple storage boxes. Also has launching trolley. She has every bell and whistle available on an Etchells, including but not limited to a full suite of 2018 North sails (only used at Worlds 2018), some sails only used in two races, two suites of training sails. Brand new, only used at the Worlds, Whalespar mast with a second Sparcraft rig. Two booms, two sets of Brolga turn buckles, tactic, electric bilge pump, ram, full boat cover, regatta cockpit cover, new sheets, new standing and running rigging and most importantly the tuning guide that make this boat fast.
